Join Project 16:15: A Lifeline for Northampton’s Homeless
Project 16:15 aims to ensure no homeless person or person in need on the streets of Northampton goes without a hot breakfast, drink and other daily essentials.
No one should have to wake up hungry and hopeless on the streets of Northampton. Yet, for many rough sleepers and vulnerable individuals, that is their daily reality. Project 16:15 refuses to accept this as “just the way things are.”
This non profit charity is more than just a service—it is a promise. A promise that no homeless person will go without a hot breakfast, a warm drink, and essential care. But more than that, it is a movement that believes every person—whether they have a roof over their head or not—deserves Dignity, Worth, and Value.
Unlike other initiatives, Project 16:15 goes straight to where help is needed. It is the only homeless support charity in Northampton that provides one-on-one hot meals and welfare services, meeting individuals in the very place they need assistance. There are no barriers, no waiting lists—just direct, immediate support from people who truly care.
This mission isn’t just about providing food. It’s about showing someone who feels invisible that they matter. It’s about restoring humanity in situations where despair is all too common.
But none of this happens without people like you. Whether you donate, volunteer, or simply spread the word, you can be the reason someone doesn’t go hungry tonight.
The streets don’t have to be the end of the story. Join Project 16:15 and help write a better future—one meal, one act of kindness, one life at a time. Get involved today. Change a life forever.
Homelessness is not just a statistic—it is a human crisis unfolding on the streets of West Northamptonshire.
Every rough sleeper, every individual without a stable home, carries a story of hardship, loss, and systemic failure.
This spiralling epidemic is not just a reflection of personal misfortune but a glaring indictment of a society struggling to provide its most vulnerable members with the basic human right of shelter.
The housing budget is stretched beyond its limits, leaving WNC struggling to provide adequate support. The demand for emergency accommodation far exceeds availability, and the lack of affordable housing means that even those who receive assistance often find themselves back in precarious situations.

The Homelessness Epidemic In Northampton
The Roots of the Crisis
The causes of homelessness are complex and deeply entrenched.
Economic instability, rising living costs, mental health struggles, domestic violence, and the severe lack of affordable housing have all contributed to the growing number of people forced onto the streets.
West Northamptonshire Council (WNC) is battling against overwhelming odds, trying to address the crisis with limited resources, financial constraints, and an insufficient housing stock.

Street outreach homeless charities play a vital role in supporting rough sleepers and the homeless community by providing essential aid, advocacy, and pathways to stability services that local county councils struggle to fully fund due to resource limitations. By bridging these gaps, these charities ensure immediate help reaches those in need while complementing government efforts to address long-term solutions.
